Eugene Youth Ballet presents The Nutcracker Suite excerpt: Friday, December 9th, the Eugene Youth Ballet will give us a sneak peak at their Nutcracker Suite production. They will be here from 8:30 to about 9:15. Afternoon kindergarten students are welcome to attend, accompanied by an adult.
It’s not too late to donate to our Community Food Drive! We read every day about Oregon families who are struggling in our challenging economy. There are children in our community who don’t have enough to eat. If you can help by donating at school it would be greatly appreciated. We are looking for non-perishable food items, with unexpired use-by dates, along with pet food and hygiene supplies like toothpaste and shampoo. Thank you for anything you can give!
Parent Club invites you to attend! Our parent club will be meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 7th, at 12:00 in the library. Snacks will be served. Younger siblings are welcome to come. We hope you will join us in support of Harrison students and staff!
Singing in the Halls! Students will participate in our traditional, annual “Singing in the Halls” on Dec. 14th, 15th, and 16th. From 8:30 to 9:00 each morning, the whole school will gather to sing traditional holiday songs. For any who would like their children not to participate, please contact the classroom teacher or office. A fun, non-holiday alternative activity will be provided.
